The detection of railway curve versine is a fundamental and routine task in railway line maintenance and inspection. Our company produces a curve versine detection device—the curve versine box (chord box), which is portable, easy to operate, and allows a single person to complete the measurement of railway rail versine.

Usage Method:

1. When inserting two magnets, the magnets should be oriented in the same direction on the side. This way, when pulling the outer magnet, the inner magnet can be drawn out.

2. Attach two strong magnets to the rail as endpoints for the curve chord at 0 meters and at 20 meters, 30 meters, or 40 meters. The chord rope lengths are: 10 meters; 20 meters; 30 meters; 40 meters. The endpoints are marked with red indicators.

3. Tighten the wire to measure the versine. Be careful not to pull too forcefully when drawing the wire. When retracting the wire, use your hand to gently block the wire at the entrance to prevent the wire inside the box from tangling.
